Wildebeest crossing the Mara river
Wildebeest, known also as Gnu, is type of antelope which occupy grasslands in east and southern Africa. In East Africa they number about 1.5 million! Such a huge herd has to be on the move all the time in order to feed, and they well known for the annual migration between Serengeti National park in Tanzania, to Maasai -mara National reserve in Kenya. On the way, they have to cross the Mara river, where predators like crocodiles are awaiting them.
