Hamer meat feast
The Hamer people of South Ethiopia, Have a very famous initiation ceremony, for the teenager who is becoming matured. That is, after many preparations, jumping over the backs of bulls four times. The jump, in most cases, take place in the evening, just before sunset.
The next day, many visitors are invited to the initiate parents home, where a big feast is taking place: drinking, singing, dancing and most important: enjoying meat feast.
Slaughtering many goats, that is an important way for the family to show its richness, and will be benefit for the initiate in times to look for bride.
